Q:  Is the tour private, or will strangers be joining us?

A:  We only do private tours. The limo is yours, and yours alone, for the day. 

 

Q:  Are there a minimum number of guests required?  A maximum number?

A:  We require a minimum of four guests; that’s our “break even” point.  On occasion we have parties smaller than four who really want the limo experience and are willing to pay for the cost of four guests, which is fine with us.  As far as a maximum, the limos hold 20 passengers by law, but we feel like that’s a little crowded.  We recommend 15 max.  The good news is, we have multiple limos, so we often accommodate larger groups than 15. 

 

Q:  How should I book?

A:  As you probably know, if you book online, you’ll be paying more, because we pay a pretty hefty commission to those “middlemen”.  If you want to save money, please email, call, or text us, and book directly.  If we are saving commission costs, we love passing that savings on to you!

 

Q:  How should I pay?

A:  We aren’t big fans of credit cards, since we get socked with fees.  So, if you use one (which is what you’ll be using if you book online, via this website), we have to tack on a 3.5% service charge onto the tour price.  Therefore, you’d be better off if you contact us and pay by Zelle, Venmo or PayPal.

 

Q:  Do you require a deposit?

A:  Yes, we require a 50% deposit to reserve the date. The rest is due a week before the tour is scheduled to commence.

 

Q:  What if we want to cancel? What’s your refund policy?

A:  Your deposit is fully refundable up to 48 hours before the tour is scheduled to commence, unless we’ve had to turn away another tour because of your booking commitment.

 

Q:  What about bad weather?

A:  We are fully aware of weather unexpectedly whipping up in the Caribbean, so we try to work with you, by finding an alternative day, or an alternative tour.  But if we wake up on the day of the tour and the weather is just awful, we aren’t going to keep your money.  That’s bad karma.  We will figure it out together.

 

Q:  What if I am coming in from the cayes/islands for the day?

A:  No problem!  Many of our guests come to the mainland from the cayes for a day trip, and we accommodate that easily.  In fact, it’s so common that we have staff on Ambergris Caye (San Pedro) to meet you!  Please note, however, that the cost of transportation to and from the island is NOT included in the tour price.  We will help you arrange the plane or the water taxi and advise you as to timing; you’ll just pay the airline or water taxi direct when you show up on your tour day.

 

Q:  How do I know what to bring on tour?

A:  Easy - we will tell you! Once you book, we will send you a detailed itinerary of your day, as well as a run down of what to expect and what to bring.
